Braund Funeral Home, located in New Madison, Ohio, is pleased to announce a recent name change to Braund Pope Funeral Home. The name change is due to Carie Pope recently becoming the managing Funeral Director of the organization.
Funeral Director Carie Pope shared, “I am pleased to be a part of a funeral home that has such a positive impact and reputation within the community. Our purpose is to personalize every family’s experience and truly celebrate each life.” Pope has 13 years of experience as a Funeral Director and joined the staff of Braund Pope Funeral Home in 2008.
Owner Eric Fee, who purchased the business in 2007, said “This name change reflects our continued commitment to our families and community as a locally owned and operated funeral home. We want to make a difference each family’s experience. We have a passion for serving families and letting them know how much we care – our goal is to go the extra mile… and then a little further.”
Fee also noted that the funeral home continues to work with area churches, parks, organizations and other non profits to provide more options in the location choice of funeral services. “We will always enjoy providing a traditional funeral service and the comfort that type of service brings. However, we pride ourselves in thinking outside of the box, being creative and celebrating life.” For offsite funerals, Braund Pope Funeral Home will donate 10 percent of the cost of services back to the church, charity or nonprofit host site of the service. Fee confirmed “If an individual wants their services to be held in their place of worship, a park or a nature center, we’ll do our best to make that happen and we’ll make a donation on their behalf.”
