GOT GREEN? CBC HAS GREAT GARB FOR ST. PATRICK’S DAY

CELEBRATE THIS MOST SOCIAL HOLIDAY BY SHARING LUCK & LOVE

St. Patrick’s Day calls for wearing a wee bit of green and celebrating everything Irish, for at least one day. Community Blood Center (CBC) is celebrating the bond between blood donors and the lives they help save with the “Blood Donor 2013 – Share the Luck, Share the Love, Give Blood” St. Patrick’s Day campaign.

The bright green “Blood Donor 2013 – Share the Luck, Share the Love, Give Blood” t-shirt is free to everyone who registers to donate at any CBC branch and most CBC mobile blood drives now through Saturday, March 16. Take the home t-shirt and use it when you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17.

CBC depends on more than the “luck of the Irish” to maintain the community blood supply. Winter weather and flu season continues in March, impacting donations. CBC reminds new and returning donors to schedule an appointment to give blood and support patients in need when you are able.
