Searching for Spring—Hiking Series!

Join the Darke County Parks each month this spring season as we explore all it has to offer! Each month we will meet at the designated park and walk the trails to see what is in bloom, which birds and critters are out and about and more! The first hike will be on Thursday, March 14th at 6:00pm at Routzong Preserve (just off 571-east on Routzong Road). This hike will focus on searching for a glimmer of green and other signs that spring has arrived. April’s hike will be a celebration of Earth Day! This hike will occur on Monday, April 22 at 12:00pm at Alice Bish Park. Join us during your lunch hour for a hike on this paved trail. The third hike in this series will be a special trip to Drew Woods on Thursday, May 16th at 6:00pm. Pre-registration is required for this hike and we will meet at Shawnee Prairie Preserve.
