DC Elite 99, a Darke County Soccer Association select team, had their first game at home on Saturday, April 13. They have a new team with kids from Greenville, Pitsburg and Versailles. This is the first year that DC Elite 99 has played in the premier division. They played FC Bethel at 6:00. Bethel opened up the scoring and then added another goal a few minutes later. The teams went into halftime with Bethel up 4-0. In the second half, DC Elite scored their first goal, which was scored by Addison Ernst off of a corner kick taken by Parker Hesler. Then Bethel scored one more and the game ended 5-1. DC Elite had multiple goal scoring opportunities in the second half. DC Elite 99 has another game Monday, April 15 in Springfield at 6:45.
