GHS Drug Sweep Results in Charges for One Student

On April 3, 2013, the Greenville Police Department, Winchester, Indiana Police K-9, Randolph County Indiana Sheriff‘s Office K-9, Union City, Indiana Police K-9, Darke County Juvenile Probation, and Darke County Sheriffs Office conducted a sweep for narcotics at the Greenville High School. The sweep was a proactive stance taken by the Greenville City Schools Administration and Law Enforcement to combat narcotics in schools.

One student was found to be in possession of a Schedule I narcotic and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed against the student and the student may face administrative discipline by the school.
