GREENVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY

On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Greenville Police responded to 527 Sweitzer,-Apt. 1 on a reported robbery. It was reported to officers that a known subject, MacKenzie Gorrell, forced entry in to the residence with a long gun and held two adults and one child at gunpoint. Gorrell took money and car keys from the residence and fled from the scene in the victim’s stolen, gray 2003 Lincoln.

The vehicle was located by Darke County Sheriff’s Office on April 17, 2013. There is a warrant for the arrest of MacKenzie Gorrell for Aggravated Robbery. Greenville Police are also looking for help in identifying an unknown, white male described as short with short brown hair; accompanying Gorrell. Both subjects are considered armed and dangerous.
