Ohio Environmental Education Fund Grant Writing Workshops 2013

Grant Writing 101/102: Finding the Right Funder and Writing a Winning Proposal, Tuesday, May 21, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Darke County Parks District Assembly Room, 4267 State Route 502, Greenville, OH 45331. Co-sponsored by Environmental Education Council of Ohio Region 4 and Ohio EPA, Office of Environmental Education. Lunch will be on your own. Registration is required for this workshop. Prospecting tips to help you identify foundations, corporations, and government grant programs, and how to approach different kinds of grant makers.

Grant Writing 102: Writing a Winning Proposal
(format: half-day interactive workshop)
How to avoid common mistakes applicants make, and develop realistic objectives, activities and budgets. OEEF will be referred to during this session.

If your organization would be interested in hosting a local workshop, please contact oeef@epa.state.oh.us. OEEF offers several different workshops for free, or for a small fee to cover the cost of a box lunch. The Ohio Environmental Education Fund provides approximately $1 million annually in grants for environmental education projects targeting pre-school through university students and teachers, the adult general public, and the regulated community.
