WHIOtv.com is reporting that Michael and Melody Fisher have been sentenced after being found guilty of child endangerment. Their son died after accidentally shooting himself with a gun in their home, which reportedly had as many as 80 unlocked firearms throughout the home.
The two each faced a possible 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, but each received 15 days in jail and will be on probation for 5 years. WHIO also notes that the sentences will be served separately in the interest of their children.
