WHIOtv.com's Steve Baker reported last weekend that the final kidney transplant at Miami Valley Hospital will involve two Darke County women.
Kris Harris of New Madison is in need of the transplant and will receive a kidney from donor Brenda Burns of Greenville.
Miami Valley Hospital recently announced the closure of its kidney transplant program.
