Rossburg - On April 9, 2013 at approximately 1145 a.m. Darke County Deputies, along with Rossburg Fire and Union City Rescue, were dispatched to Rossburg Lightsville Road and Lightsville Northern Road in reference to a female struck by a moving vehiclePreliminary investigation revealed that a 2000 Ford E250, driven by John Kopilec (35) of Rossburg was north bound on Lightsville Northern Road when the front passenger, Quintina Kopilec, 30, Rossburg tried to jump from the vehicle during a verbal argument. Quintina lost her footing during the attempt causing her to roll under the moving vehicle. Quintina was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight were she was listed in stable condition.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
