The Darke County Chapter of Farm Safety For Just Kids will be holding its ninth Progressive Ag Safety Day on June 11 at the Darke County Fairgrounds. Kids 7 through 13 are invited to participate in this event. Some of the sessions to be presented are ATV Safety, Internet Safety, Firearm Safety, Animal Safety, & Hidden Hazards. Lisa Holmes, a professional story-teller from Springfield, will teach the kids to "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" in a humorous way. Grandparents are welcome to come with the kids and an adult session will be presented for them while the kids take a lunch and fun break. The event hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
