Care Flight Called After SUV Strikes Utility Pole

On June 3, 2013 at approximately 1:24 AM Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue, New Madison Fire and CareFlight were dispatched to 4600 Block of Hollansburg-Arcanum Road in reference to an injury accident involving a SUV.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Jennifer N. Borasz, 30, Darke County Ohio was westbound on Hollansburg-Arcanum Road in the 4600 block. Borasz failed to negotiate the curve in her SUV. The SUV drove off of the south side of the roadway striking a utility pole and overturning into a field. The driver was able to walk to a nearby house after crawling out of her wrecked vehicle that was still on its side. 

 

Borasz was transported to MiamiValley Hospital by CareFlight. Borasz is listed in serious condition at this time.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
