Brands Collaborate on KitchenAid Soda Maker “Powered by SodaStream”
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. and AIRPORT CITY, Israel - June 17, 2013 - KitchenAid, a leading maker of premium kitchen appliances and culinary tools and a brand of Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR), and SodaStream International, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SODA), the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of home beverage carbonation systems, today announced a collaboration that will introduce a jointly developed home carbonation system to the KitchenAid portfolio. The soda maker is expected to be available at retail in the fourth quarter of 2013. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
