Part of recording history is preserving our old photos and paper items for future generations. The Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society will feature a workshop on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 9am until 11:30 at the historical society located at 123 W. George St. in Arcanum. Come and bring your photos and scrapbook items and learn some creative tips from Carolyn Furlong on how to scrap those old or current photos. We also have ideas on how to display and create a unique heirloom from old paper items or copies of the originals. Also, learn about how to properly store photo and paper items such as old letters and deeds or how to display and organize your collections by Annette Stewart.
Handouts are available for $2.00 and RSVP’s are recommended by calling Carolyn Furlong at 548-6556 or Annette Stewart at 692-6462. Emails can be directed to webmaster@arcanumhistoricalsociety.org by the end of June.
