Picnic at the Pool will again be held on Sunday, July 21st. Co-managers Alychia Wright and Julie Willis are very excited to present another special, fun-filled day for our community. Lion’s Club President Matt Huffman and members of the Arcanum Lions’ Club will be the “Chefs of the Day” cooking hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill served with potato chips and applesauce for $3.00 from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. Drinks will be available at the pool concession stand. A Corn Hole Tournament will be the July Feature event in a double elimination tournament, no skunk rule, 21 points and over wins. Entry fee per team is $25.00; 1st place wins $100, 2nd place wins $50, and 3rd place wins $25. Proceeds from the Corn Hole Tournament will go towards replacement of the water slide. Did you know that the Arcanum Pool is available for private parties? Now that the warmer weather is here and Summer is fast approaching it's the perfect time to host a pool party! The Arcanum Pool is available to rent for private parties every evening (based on availability) for the summer! To make your reservation call the Village of Arcanum offices at 692-8500 to check the schedule and set up your summer fun! The pool is available for three hours for the rental fee of $150 which includes lifeguards. Have your company picnic, birthday celebration, club outing, family gathering or your church group, 4-H club, sports team, or family reunion at the Village of Arcanum Pool. Bring toys, games, and have a great time splashing around! Snacks, meals and cake are permitted. When it comes to keeping cool in the summertime, the Arcanum Pool is one of the best deals in town.
