Fort GreeneVille DAR Holds Story Time at the Gathering at Garst

The Fort GreeneVille DAR chapter held a storytime with games during the Gathering at the Garst. Member Karen Burkett gave a storytime about the 1700 and 1800 time period of children. Afterwards chapter members played games of that period with the children. The games included whirligigs, hoop & stick, Graces, and Apple Snap (marshmallows).Two books were given away as door prizes. The books of early period games were donated by the Garst Museum Gift Shop which can be purchased at the Gift Shop.
