operations manager Greg Foughty with CBC staff.
It’s the middle of summer and the midway mark in Community Blood Center (CBC)’s “King of the Road Summer Blood Drive” to win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. CBC will celebrate with a guest appearance of the grand prize Road King Classic at the Versailles community blood drive, sponsored by Midmark Corporation & Versailles High School National Honor Society, Monday, July 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Versailles.

Donors can see the Road King up close and enter drawings for three door prizes of Harley-Davidson and CBC merchandise. The motorcycle will be on display inside the Hall. The door prizes are sponsored by Gover Harley-Davidson in Piqua and Darke County Blood Donation Ambassadors Pohl Transportation, Inc. and Versailles Savings & Loan Company.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive the new, limited edition CBC “King of the Road Blood Drive – Route 56” t-shirt in Harley-Davidson colors. They will also be automatically entered into the summer blood drive drawing to win the Road King Classic motorcycle.

CBC has partnered with Gover Harley-Davidson in Piqua and REACH Magazine on the “King of the Road Blood Drive” campaign. Everyone who registers to give blood at any CBC Donor Center or mobile blood drive now through Saturday, Aug. 31 automatically qualifies for a chance to win the Road King Classic.
Ten computer-selected finalists will be invited to a special envelope-opening announcement event in September to decide the winner. (Must be 18 to win. Official rules available at www.givingblood.org).
The free “King of the Road Summer Blood Drive Route 56” t-shirt is the latest design in the summer campaign. The t-shirt is black with an orange Harley-Davidson racing stripe and features the “Route 56” road sign emblem.

The Knights of Columbus lodge is located at 8440 State Route 47 in Versailles. You can schedule an appointment on line at www.DonorTime.com or contact CBC Rep. Dana Puterbaugh at (937) 997-2199 or at dputerbaugh@cbccts.org.
