“Car Show & Drive-In Movie” at Library

Librarians Julie Frohna and Reuben Kennet.
The Greenville Public Library's Children's Department is hosting a “Car Show & Drive-In Movie” on Sat. September 7th from 11:00 to 3:00. The event is free but space is limited. Pick up your tickets soon.

Kids are asked to bring a “car” to sit in during the movie. Adults can help decorate a cardboard box to look like a car and bring it to the Library. Feel free to make any kind of car or any car character you want. They don't have to be fancy, just fun.

We'll start with the “Car Show.” Prizes will be awarded for our favorite cars, followed by a hot dog lunch. Then kids will then get to watch the movie Cars drive-in style from their own cardboard vehicle. The movie will be shown in the library's meeting room on the third floor.

There is still plenty of time to decorate a “car” and pick up a ticket. Don't miss this fun event!
