4th PERSON IN DRUG RING ARRESTED IN ENGLEWOOD

On September 12, 2013 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Detectives from the Greenville Police Department, with special assistance from the Englewood Police Department, located and arrested 47 year old Rick L. Fleetwood on outstanding warrants after tips led Detectives to believe he was hiding in a motel off of Main Street in Englewood.

Fleetwood’s original warrants stemmed from narcotics investigations which resulted in Drug Trafficking and Child Endangering charges. When Fleetwood fled from Greenville, a warrant was issued for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Subsequent warrants were issued by the Darke County Municipal Court for Driving Under Suspension and by Shelby County for Failure to Obey a Court Order.

Fleetwood was transported to the Darke County Jail and must serve 30 days on the Driving Under Suspension Charge. Fleetwood will be arraigned in the Darke County Common Pleas Court and bond will be set at a later date.
