We’re currently in our 19th year of AWANA Youth Ministry here at First Congregational Christian Church and we want you to join in on the excitement! Our Trek program, designed for junior high students, meets each Sunday evening at 4:30pm. Our students are challenged to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through life application of God’s Word. Also beginning at 4:30pm is our high school Journey program featuring an energetic look at biblically-based content, life application and an emphasis on scripture memory. At 5:15pm ages 3 through 6th grade join us for the evening’s activities. Our preschoolers learn about God and His Son, Jesus Christ, while non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce the story time themes. Sparks is divided into a three year program for kindergarten through 2nd graders. Clubbers will explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of scripture, memorize Bible verses and complete handbook activities. And our T & T program challenges 3rd through 6th graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace. All clubbers end the evening at 7:15pm.
