The Ansonia Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting our First Annual Halloween House decorating contest in conjunction with our annual Halloween Chili Supper and Costume contest. Trophies will be given to the top 3 entries that best depict the Halloween season. The contest will be limited to houses within the Ansonia Volunteer Fire District. Winners will be announced at the beginning of the Costume contest. Entry forms can be picked up the Ansonia City building, area businesses or at the FD. Forms must be returned to the city building or any FD member by October 25th. (Click here to download the form).
The Chili Supper and Costume Contest will be held Thursday October 31st at the Fire Department. The Chili Supper starts at 5:00 PM and parade lineup at 6:30 pm and the Costume Parade and Judging at 7:00 pm.
