Prairie Days: What to Bring

Are you going to Prairie Days next weekend? The festival will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, September 28th and 12:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, September 29th.

Parking and Admission to the festival are completely FREE. The festival is held at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, 4267 State Route 502 West, just outside of Greenville. Parking for the festival will be at a parking lot across 502 and Greenville City Transit will provide transportation from the parking lot right to the festival!

Vehicles properly marked with handicapped passes will be permitted to park in the lot next to the Nature Center. Wear your walking shoes as you could spend the entire day at the festival enjoying all that there is to take in. Tired of walking? Hop on the horse and wagon ride that circles the festival throughout the day. Hungry? All food at the festival is provided by non-profit vendors and is very reasonably priced. So grab a sandwich or enjoy an old fashioned soda and help out a good cause. Bring the entire family to Prairie Days for a free, family event!

If you have any questions, please call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165
