2014 Ag Outlook Meetings Announced

Farmers and agribusiness need to keep tuned into market trends, production economics and farm policy issues affecting farm profitability. Farmers, agribusinesses and others in the agricultural industry have the opportunity to learn more about the current farm outlook at an Ohio State University Extension 2014 Farm Outlook Program. Meetings are coordinated by your local OSU Extension office and/or local agri-business to deliver Ohio State University’s foremost authorities.
Speakers for the Darke County hosted meetings will be:

• Carl Zulauf - Farm Bill Outlook 2013
• Barry Ward - Examining Potential Crop Profitability in 2014: Land Values, Cash Rents & Crop Inputs
• Matt Roberts - Grain Markets & Marketing in an Era of Lower Prices

Our Darke County Meetings will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013:

• 11:30 a.m., A Learning Place
• 201 Robert M Davis Pkwy, Piqua, OH 45356
• Lunch included, $20 per person.
• 5:30 p.m., Miami Valley Career Technology Center
• 6801 Hoke Road, Clayton, Ohio 45315, Rm. 406 Adult Education Center
• Dinner included, $20 per person.
