A NIGHT OUT WITH THE WAVAIRES


The Greenville High School Vocal Music Department presents “A Night Out with The Wavaires,” Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 pm at St. Clair Memorial Hall. All seats are reserved, and tickets may be purchased at the Greenville High School ticket booth, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. daily through Friday, November 8. The price of the tickets is $6 for presale and $7 at the door. There are no refunds or exchanges. Tickets may also be reserved by contacting Katie Netzley (evenings until 9 p.m.), 547-9659. The choirs are accompanied by Judy Mills, and directed by Chelsea Whirledge.

The concert will begin with The Wavaires performing “Good Time,” “Hey Ya!” and “Shake Your Groove Thing.”

The concert will continue with many different solos and spotlight selections, including “Hallelujah,” “The A-Team,” “Anything You Can Do,” “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me,” “How to Save a Life” and many more.

A few of the highlights for The Wavaires will include the traditional “Armed Forces Salute,” “Rock with You: A Tribute to Michael Jackson,” and “Home,” in honor of dear friend and supporter, Cathy Eckstein.


Along with The Wavaires, 20 students in grades 4-9 will also be performing three songs as part of the annual Wavaire Camp. These selections will open up the second half of the show, and include “Reach,” “Breaking Free” and “Build Me Up, Buttercup.”

The concert will conclude with two upbeat favorites, “Gimme Some Lovin’” and “Knock on Wood.”
