Garst Museum Thanks Its Volunteers

(L to R) Garst Museum volunteers with the most hours are Norma Schilling, Pat Lemmer and Nancy Wenger. Keith Kahlig was not available for the photo.

Active volunteer, Rex Spencer, was happy
to receive the door prize.
Garst Museum's volunteers put in numerous hours all year long and all of these hours make a difference in the day-to-day functions at the Museum.

Core volunteers assisting with accessioning, guiding tours, reception, and genealogy office work, plus all of the Gathering and Gala Committees put in many hours. These hours are "huge" for the Museum.

We could not get along without the many hours of work that they donate. Linda Newbauer, Volunteer Coordinator, reported four individuals with the most hours this year. Keith Kahlig, a college student (absent from photo) helped during the summer months with over 235 hours. The ladies in the photo, Norma Schilling, Pat Lemmer and Nancy Wenger, contributed a combined total of nearly 700 hours for this year. Keith received a gift card and the ladies received small pumpkins filled with fresh flowers.

The Garst Museum appreciates all of their volunteers, whether they put in 30 hours or 300 hours annually. We need all of them and we thank them!
