This holiday season get gifts for everyone on your list all while supporting a great cause when you shop the Gift Shop at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve Nature Center.
The Gift Shop, managed by the Friends of the Darke County Parks, is overflowing with great gift ideas! New this year are gift baskets, wrapped and completely ready for you to give as a gift! Each unique gift basket contains the book “The Stories” by Bill Light, Darke County Parks’ Apple Butter and Maple Syrup, two candles, a water bottle and an ornament all for ONLY $20.00. From stocking stuffers to field guides for the nature lover, we have what you need. Also new this year are hand woven denim rugs made in the Nature Center by volunteers. For the children on your list, we have ornament kits, handmade pioneer toys and much more. We also have children’s books along with how-to guides available.
The gift shop will be running a holiday sale, December 1st-24th, everything will be 10% off. Due to the Luminary Hike on December 7th , there will be a special sale of 20% off all items. The gift shop in the Nature Center is open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm and is located at 4267 State Route 502 Greenville, OH.
