Saturday was Christmas for Corynna Strawser (or "Why I Love Our Community")

As her health continues to deteriorate, Greenville's Corynna Stawser and her family are determined to make the most of their time together, including celebrating Christmas a little early.

The community once again came together to pull off some amazing acts this past Saturday to help the Strawser's celebrate. First, a miniature version of the hometown holiday horse parade made a trip to Corynna's home, traveling by her window for a personalized version of the downtown event. The Greenville High School Marching Band participated as well. WHIO was there and has a report that's available by clicking on the image below.

Later in the evening, as the Strawsers celebrated their family Christmas, a large crowd formed at the fairgrounds and journeyed to the Strawser home. They gathered near Corynna's bedroom window and sang Christmas Carols for her and her family.

Amazing, incredible, inspiring, and so full of love... all words that describe both Corynna and her family, as well as the community that surrounds all of us.
