VERSAILLES HEALTH CARE CENTER DELIVERS FRUIT TO HOMEWARD BOUND PATIENTS

L to R: Paula Varvel, Director of Dietary Services at Versailles Health Care Center, and her mother, Mary Fleenor of Versailles, a current short-term rehab patient at Versailles Health Care Center, assemble goodie bags.
Versailles Health Care Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that offers short-term rehab services, outpatient therapy, and long-term care, is proud to have returned home 153 patients so far in 2013 through its Homeward Bound Therapy Program. In honor of these patients who utilized Versailles Health Care Center’s short-term rehab services and returned home, VHCC staff and current patients assembled goodie bags filled with assorted fresh fruit, nuts, and candies before Thanksgiving. The staff then made delivery of the goodie bags the week of Thanksgiving to all the patients sent home so far in 2013. Versailles Health Care Center would like to thank all staff and patients who worked so hard to make Thanksgiving special for all the Homeward Bound Therapy patients! The Rehab Clinic at VHCC offers inpatient and outpatient physical therapy to people of all ages and is open seven days a week. Specialty programs offered are Parkinson’s Therapy Program, Vestibular (Balance) Rehab Therapy, Sports Medicine, Cardiac Recovery, Pulmonary Rehab, Stroke Recovery, Continence Improvement, Wound Care, Orthopedic-Joint Replacement Therapy, and much more.
