On January 13, 2014 at approximatley 11:43 AM Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire, and Greenville Township Rescue responded to the 2600 block of Stingley Road in reference to a one-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed Angel M. Cheadle 22, of Greenville, was driving a White 2007 Saturn Eastbound on Stingley Road, when she drove off the right side of the roadway then over-corrected, striking the guardrail on the right side of the road then her vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a large tree. Cheadle was treated at the scene and transported to the CareFlight landing zone at the Darke County Sheriff's Office by Greenville Township Rescue where she was then airlifted to the Miami Valley Hospital aboard CareFlight for her injuries. Cheadle was not wearing a seatbelt.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
