Good parenting is hard work, sometimes lonely work. Our kids can be at once delightful and frustrating. Good parenting, like all important things in our lives, requires support and encouragement to be successful. EUM Church is providing a Parent Support Group during January and February that will give you an ear for listening to you, a shoulder for your weariness, a hand to help you, and a voice for your family’s future.
God is for you and not against you. The family is His idea and He knows how to make it work. Join us on Wednesdays, at 6:00 pm starting January 8 through February 26 at EUM Worship Center located at 1451 Sater Street in Greenville, Ohio.
The group is hosted by Beverly Hughes, BA. “I have taught parenting skills through Children's Services, Juvenile Court, to pregnant teens through the schools, and now in churches.”
The class is free of charge but registration is required. Free childcare is also provided but registration is required. Contact Janie Detling, Support Ministries Director, at the Greenville EUM church at 937-548-3211 to register.
Jeff Harper is Senior Pastor at EUM Church and regular worship services are Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 a.m. at our Worship Center located at 1451 Sater Street (corner of Sater and Sebring-Warner Road) in Greenville, OH. Kidmunity Children’s Ministry is available for kids age birth through grade six at the 6:30 pm, 9:45 and 11:15 am services. The Downtown Campus, 111 Devor Street, houses our offices and preschool.
