Winter Stay Option at Brethren Retirement Community

As the snow falls today on our campus, we are thankful to be inside the warm building, surrounded by friends and family enjoying the numerous daily activities that are offered. Whether our residents are here for a short term rehab stay, winter stay, respite stay, or call Brethren Retirement Community home, they have the peace of mind knowing that they do not have to deal with the snow, ice, and cold temperatures.

It is not too late to take advantage of our Winter Stay program. While many people have already moved in to try this program, there is still availability in our comfortable Assisted Living apartments. The “Winter Stay” program is ideal for an individual who doesn’t know much about retirement communities and wants to experience the lifestyle before making a long-term commitment. The Winter Stay program allows you to move in when the weather is chilly and move back to your home in the spring after the threat of inclement weather has passed.

Forget about long, dreary winter days; at Brethren Retirement Community there is always something to do! Enjoy the many opportunities to meet with new and old friends in art, ceramics, exercise or woodworking classes, or at the weekly neighborhood coffee socials. You will have many opportunities to meet new friends and neighbors.

Our Winter Stay Program offers meals, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, activities, a Doctor on call and much more. You can bring your favorite furnishings and belongs to surround you, watch the snow fly from the comfort of your own apartment, knowing that everything you need is right here. We have a Second National Bank branch, a library with computer station, beauty shop, gift shop and all the amenities you will need right on our beautiful campus.

Watch the snow fall and the ice melt on our beautiful campus and don’t worry about having to go out in the weather! We hope you enjoy it here and decide to stay, many of our residents do!
