Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association General Manager, Jerry Knappenberger attended the Darke County Harness Horsemens Association Awards Banquet on February 1st. On behalf of the Ohio Harness Hoursemen's Association, Knappenberger presented the Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement to the Darke County Agricultural Society and DCHHA. The award was presented in regards to the Gene Riegle Memorial Open Pace held during the Great Darke County Fair in August. Last Years race went for $20,000. Ron Burke trained Take It Back Terry and driven by Dave Palone in 1:53.3.
