Greenville FFA Hosts Blood Drive

Greenville FFA Chapter hosted a blood drive on February 20th at Greenville High School. There were 76 individuals who signed up for this blood drive with 58 pints of blood being collected. That amount will help over 160 individuals who are in need of blood.

This blood drive was held in conjunction with National FFA Week activities. The next time students will be able to donate at Greenville High School will a blood drive sponsored by the Medical Tech Prep program.

Members of the program participate in at least one community service project during each nine weeks of the school year. During the course of the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in several community service projects including Food for Needy at Christmas, Toys for Tots, Trash Bash, Adopt a Highway, Operation Christmas Child, Donating to the Local Food Banks, Pet Food Drive, and others.
