TAKE ME OUT’ TO THE ST. PAUL LUTHERAN BLOOD DRIVE!

VERSAILLES PLANS TO ‘KNOCK IT OUT OF PARK’ WITH BASEBALL THEME

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio – St. Paul Lutheran Church in Versailles is counting on donors to “step up to the plate” when it hosts a Community Blood Center (CBC) blood drive Tuesday, April 22 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church Community Hall on Greenville-St. Marys Road.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive the CBC “Take Me Out to the Blood Drive – Lifesaver League” t-shirt, but St. Paul blood drive organizers are taking their celebration of the new baseball season into extra innings.

“We plan on going with the baseball theme for our blood drive,” said blood drive coordinator Perry Graves. “We will have hot dogs, peanuts and Cracker Jack, plus desserts. We’ll also have door prizes with a baseball theme. I think we will knock this one out of the park!”

Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at www.DonorTime.com. They can also contact CBC Darke County account representative Dana Puterbaugh at (937) 997-2199.

CBC is offering the “Take Me Out to the Blood Drive” t-shirt as a donor gift to everyone who registers to donate Monday, March 24 through Saturday, May 3 at any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives.

The t-shirt is white with a red and blue emblem that features a baseball player swinging the bat. The casual, athletic look of this t-shirt is perfect for watching the Dragons or Reds at the ballpark, or running the bases at a softball game!
