29 year old Scott Weber is on trial in Darke County for charges relating to the death of his 16 month old daughter.
The cause of the girl's death was determined to be asphyxiation by a scarf that the child slept with, but the prosecutor alleges the child was given a sleep aid that is only recommended for those 12 years old and up.
Weber is now waiting on a verdict from Judge Jonathon Hein on charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering and faces up to 14 years in prison.
