Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society will host their “Spring Fling” at the historical building’s rear outdoor garden on 123 West George Street during Old Fashion Days beginning on Friday, May 16th 4:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17th 10:00-6:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 18th 11:00-2:00 p.m. Under the tent will be the most amazing garden plants, both indoor and outdoor plant starts and garden/yard ornaments. Look for spring wreaths, birdhouses and numerous other garden items for sale.
The best homemade baked cakes, pies, cookies and more will be featured under the AWTHS’ Spring Fling Tent. Items are ready to take home to eat or freeze or delicious for on the spot for enjoyment.
Sign up anytime during the weekend for a door prize that will be drawn at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. NO PURCHASE necessary to be a winner of the door prize. Or purchase a raffle ticket for a $1.00 to win a fairy garden. The fairy garden will be on display throughout the weekend.
Complete your visit by stopping inside the Historical Building on Saturday, May 17 to view the quilters’ display and demonstrations of paper piecing, hand piecing and wall applique.
