Last night, a home in the 11300 block of SR 49 (north of SR 47) burned in a massive fire that resulted in 14 fire departments arriving to control the blaze. According to WHIO, an outdoor extension cord was the cause of the fire.
While the house was heavily damaged, thankfully the family escaped harm after being alerted to the fire by a smoke detector.
