Greenville Trio Arrested During Drug Raid

On June 6, 2014 the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Darke County Deputies, with the assistance of officers from the Greenville Police Department, executed a search warrant at 429 Martin Street in Greenville, Ohio with regard to Trafficking in Heroin.

Stephanie Boyd (45), Debra Houdeshell (28) and Joseph T. Smith (33), all of Greenville, were taken into custody without incident and are currently being housed at the Darke County Jail where they await formal charges.

Ms. Boyd and Ms. Houdeshell are each facing one count of Trafficking in Drugs (Heroin). Additionally, Ms. Houdeshell is facing one count of Endangering Children while Mr. Smith is also facing one count of Endangering Children, as well. Darke County Children’s Services was summoned to the above location due to children being present. Two children of Ms. Houdeshell and one child of Mr. Smith were removed and placed into protective care of Darke County Children Services.
