THE DARKE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY WELCOMES RETIRED TROTTING SUPERSTAR LANSON TO PARADE THE POST FOR THE GENE RIEGLE MEMORIAL OPEN PACE FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GREAT DARKE COUNTY FAIR

Recently retired trotting superstar Lanson will parade the post for the 2014 edition of the Gene Reigle Memorial Pace Friday night. The race is carded as the 10th race and is loaded with power. The Three Diamonds Open Mare Pace is equally strong and is slated as the 8th race of the 11 race closing card.

Lanson had a stellar career earning over $79,000 lifetime. He was trained by Don Swick for Royal Wire Products. He race in many classics over the years against many of great trotters of his time. He posted a lifetime best of 1:51 3/5 on a mile track with the usual services of Mike LaChance. Winning such notable races as the Su Mac Lad Open Trot in 2009. Lanson is now transitioning into his next career with Starting Gaits Standardbred Transition Program.
