Several Chestnut Village residents, along with a few residents from the greater community, recently spent a beautiful fall day immersed in Dayton history. The morning started with a private guided-tour of Hawthorne Hill, the mansion Orville Wright called home for nearly 35 years followed by lunch at Culp’s Café on the grounds of Carillon Park and a guided tour of the village at Carillon Park.
