Arcanum Lion's High Bidder for $170 Pie

The Arcanum Lion's Club held their annual Pie Auction, a fund raiser within the their own club with the proceeds going to a yet-to-be determined need in the community. Brumbaugh Fruit Farm and Bakery donated all the baked items for the local auction, among those items were several high dollar winning bids, an apple pie for $50, cherry pie for $55.50, 2 dozen cookies for $50.00, mini apple pie for $35.00 among other tasty pastries. A total of 23 bakery items were auctioned off to Lion's members and their wives, members gave an additional 5 monetary donations and one envelope bid for $15.00.

The highest winning bid for evening was won by Lion Alan Fourman for a black raspberry pie for the grand bid of $170.00. Lion Alan set an new club record the highest bid ever sold in the history of the previous pie auctions. The auction closed with a grand total of $1,285. Once again the Lion's Club continues their motto, WE SERVE, going locally with their own club fund raiser.
