Christmas Services at Oakland Church of the Brethren

Candlelight Communion will be on December 14th at 7:30 pm. Join family and friends for an evening of reflection and to remember why we celebrate Christmas. Communion will be shared in the candlelight while soft music fills the sanctuary. Directly after Candlelight Communion will be a Service of Remembrance. Paper doves will be personalized with those you want to remember. The doves will be placed on a Christmas tree during the service. You may take the dove home to place on your Christmas tree after the service. For those who need a listening ear, a prayer or just a hug, there will be a caring deacon available after the service.

Christmas Eve Service will be December 24th at 7:30pm. Let every heart prepare him room, and heaven and nature sing! Join us as we prepare our hearts and sing praise with many musicians and worship with our family and friends on this special evening.

Oakland wishes all a wonderful Christmas season and invite all to these special services or our Sunday services at 10:30am. Any questions please call 937-448-2287. We are located at 8058 Horatio Harris Creek Road, just 2 ½ miles north of Gettysburg. You may also visit our website at oaklandchurch.org.
