On January 24, 2015 at approximately 10:30 PM Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia Fire, Ansonia Rescue, and CareFlight were dispatched to the 4900 Block of State Route 47 reference a one vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a red 2005 Chevy pickup truck, driven by Karen Reier of Ansonia, was traveling east on State Route 47. Ms. Reier went off the left side of the road and came to rest in a ditch.
Reier was transported to the CareFlight landing zone at the Darke County Criminal Justice Center by Ansonia Rescue and then transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
