“Last Monday” Rescheduled due to weather

We have a sure cure for those winter blahhs. The Versailles Museum announces the return of our successful “Last Monday of the Month”. Beginning on February 2nd at 1:00 p.m. we will host our first gathering of 2015 with the theme Webster Memories. A brief history of this area and its early settlers will follow with a discussion of village life throughout the area.

As always we have great discussions because you bring the stories and old pictures to us and we all learn more about the people and places that make up northeastern Darke County.

Webster is also the community selected to be the theme for this year’s annual historic dinner on February 14th at the K. of C. in Versailles. Tickets for that event are available by calling the museum at 937-526-4222.

The afternoon will conclude with a warm beverages and a sweet treat before you go back out into the January cold.

You also may get a sneak peak at the many changes at the museum displays in preparation for our February reopening.

Remember that if we are on a Level 2 snow emergency or Versailles schools are closed we will NOT meet.

This is rescheduled due to last Monday’s weather. We hope you’ll join us.

Please call your friends and plan to get out of the house and join us for an afternoon of conversation and fellowship, as we kick off the New Year at the Versailles Area Museum.
