Big Brothers Big Sisters Partner Up With Girl Scouts
The Bigs and Littles met from 6:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. for 5 sessions starting in January until March. While at the meeting the Bigs and Littles would participate in many activities that were STEM related while following the Girl Scout honor. The activities revolved around positive choices, being a stand up character, and overall fun.
Jennifer Bruns, Executive Director stated, “This was a wonderful opportunity for the Littles & Bigs in our program to get involved in such a positive organization such as Girl Scouts. They may not have had the opportunity to do so if it weren't for this partnership. The activities the Girl Scouts provide were wonderful and everyone left after each meeting learning something valuable and positive. I look forward to future opportunities of working with the Girl Scouts again. “
