Darke County Parks Native Plant Sale Going on Now

The Darke County Parks Native Plant sale is back! Plants are available for pre-sale and/or purchase the day of the Sale. Pre-sale will guarantee that you will receive the quantity and variety of plants that you want. Pre-sale forms are available at the Nature Center or you can download one from our website (www.darkecountyparks.org). Pre-sale form and payment are due March 27th, 2015.

If you can’t decide what to order, then visit us during the plant sale on Saturday, April 25th from 10am-3pm during Nature Day at Shawnee Prairie Preserve (4267 State Route 502 West). Plants must be picked up during that time. Butterfly gardening is the focus of the plants available this year. Please consider planting milkweed to help provide critical habitat for the Monarch butterfly population. For more information, call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165.
