Hannah Linebaugh, sponsorship committee chairman of the Annie Oakley Festival Committee, met with Jeff D. Kniese, President and CEO of Greenville Federal, to receive their sponsorship on behalf of the 2015 festival. Greenville Federal has helped sponsor this county tradition for many years. Though the midwinter chill dominated outside, indoors the excitement and anticipation for next summer’s festivities bloomed warm and bright. After the presentation, Linebaugh shared some of the new and exciting plans for the upcoming year with Mr. Kniese, and everyone is looking forward seeing the festival come together once again.
Giving back to local communities has long been a trademark of Greenville Federal, the oldest bank headquartered in Darke County. “We are happy to help the Annie Oakley Festival Committee in the continuation of this county tradition.” states Jeff Kniese, President & CEO.
After last year’s move to York Woods breathed new life into one of the county’s oldest festivals, the community support has rallied as well. Everyone appreciated the new location having more shade, a more relaxed atmosphere, and being closer to Annie’s childhood home. The committee members, vendors, and festival attendees all loved the location and were eager to return the following year. There are many plans transpiring this year to make 2015 even better than last year, but the Annie Oakley Festival Committee needs the community’s support in order to accomplish them. At this time of year they are seeking sponsorship and have valuable sponsor packages available. If any local businesses or individuals are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Hannah Linebaugh at (937) 338-5221 or hc.linebaugh@gmail.com.
