Practice, Practice, Practice... (With Corrected Date)

This post originally appeared last week, but an incorrect date was identified afterwards, so I'm rerunning the post with the corrected date...

Greenville High School students Jaxon Turner and Jeramy Toombs work on their choreographed fight scene for the upcoming production of “The Three Musketeers.” The GHS Theatre Company is hard at work 5 afternoons a week with their lines and swordplay, as well as set building and lights and sounds development.

Here, Samantha Lobenstein, Thomas Nader, and Aaron Lobenstein go over the steps for the next scene. Mr. Nader, the group’s new adviser, is working to help the students discover the classic plays, and acting methods used in them, in an effort to revitalize theatre in our community. He is also creating authentic period costumes to enhance the theatre goers’ experience.

The troupe is asking for your support on April 3rd and 4th. We invite you to come and experience a classic production, complete with stage play, authentic costumes, and beautiful sets. Performances will be at 7:00 pm on Friday and 2:00 and 7:00 pm on Saturday at St Claire Memorial Hall. Tickets are available at the door, $3.00 for students/teachers/seniors(62 and over), and adults are $5.00.
