Badgett has served as secretary to the board for the past six years, and will continue as secretary in addition to being a member of the board. Steve began his career at SNB in 1984 as the branch manager of SNB’s Fort Recovery Office and transferred to the Main Office in 2003. Badgett is currently the Executive Vice President and Senior Lender at Second National Bank.
Badgett has been an active member of the Fort Recovery and Mercer County community through his association with the local Chamber, the Industrial Park, the Lion’s Club, church finance committee member, and as a volunteer member of Ambassador Park. Steve currently serves on the board of the Darke County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Chamber’s legislative committee. He also serves as a member of the board and finance committee of the Mercer Health Hospital in Coldwater.
Steve and his wife Mary Ann live in Fort Recovery and they own and operate a contract poultry layer operation.
