State of the Heart Hires Nurse For Hospice Care Center

Daniel C. Stuart of Eaton has been hired as a nurse by State of the Heart Hospice and will work in the agency’s Hospice Care Center at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville. State of the Heart Hospice cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.

He said he was attracted to work at State of the Heart as it is “an established, exceptional organization with a full spectrum of patient care options, including the hospice care center which accommodates the needs of patients and their families.” He added that he” likes an agency culture that cares and cultivates teamwork and self improvement.”

He has an extensive background as a Registered Nurse Case Manager, an instructor, and has a BSN from IUE. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, walking in the woods with his dog, and antiquing.
